Pale swallowtail (Papilio eurymedon)
The pale swallowtail is a relatively common swallowtail butterfly found throughout much of the western United States. IdentificationAdults have upper surface of wings a creamy white with black stripes and a thick wing-border. The forewing very pointed and the tail of hindwing is long and twisted.
