The American pika found in found the mountains of western North America, usually in boulder fields at or above tree line. They are herbivorous animals and smaller relatives of rabbits and hares.

Identification

They have a small, round, egg-shaped body, which is covered with brown fur. They have large and round ears, and no visible tail.
