Sara's orangetip (Anthocharis sara)
Sara's orangetip is a butterfly which ranges along the Pacific coast of North America from Alaska to Mexico. IdentificationThe upperside is yellowish white to white. At the tip of the forewing is a large orange patch, outlined in black. The patch is smaller in females than in males. The border of the wings may be spotted with black.
