The Orange sulphur a species of butterfly found throughout North America from southern Canada to Mexico,

Identification

Adults can be quite variable. Upper side of male is yellow with orange overlay, yellow veins, wide black border, and dark black cell spot. The female is yellow or white with irregular black border surrounding light spots. The underside hindwing has a spot silver with 2 concentric dark rings, and a spot above it.
